So today a piece of snow removal equipment caught fire near gate A22 at Pittsburgh international. There are reports of a possible explosion, but no injuries are reported. The FD was able to extinguis it quickly. (theyre pretty awsome, I’ve met some of them) pretty interesting. I’ve never seen a report of somthing like this. It is unclear exactly what equipment ut was, or any long term affects…
if that was near a aircraftwow could have been fatal if it was in the vicinity of a fuel tank
I hope everyone is ok, what could have happened for it to set fire? Good thing it wasn’t near an aircraft
Well, it wasnt super close to an aircraft if you look at the pictures
Ya, They havent said yet, but I’m intrested to see
I’m just curious how this may affect daily snow removal operations…
If this were to happen up here in “Coldary”, CYYC would be at a standstill. But the again we have thrice the traffic…
Well that’s hot
Thanks for keeping us informed mark I appreciate it
True, probably no snow around there, lol… 😂😜
Well I mean I’m just wondering what kind of equipment it is, because some things they probably have a fleet of, and one is still a big deal, but workable, but some things they only have one or two of if it’s more specialized, so i’d assume that would have a greater impact…
Well the fire removed the snow maybe lol! I wonder what eequipment it was
Yes at least it was doing it’s job 😂
The title alone made me confused enough to question what i’m doing with life.
I do hope every is ok though,
But did it clear the snow in the area when it caught fire?
I’m willing to bet, yes…
