I thought that it would be pretty sick if there was some more wintery weather implemented into this flight sim. There could be snow all around the taxiways, and there could also be ice on the runways, maybe forcing you to use reverse thrust on landings in case you already don’t.
Going on this, if you think that this is a good idea, check out another feature idea that a friend of mine made:
I think that it would only be good if there was snow and ice implemented in the simulator. I still gave this a vote though. Great idea!
Please give this a vote if you want to see this soon! I personally would, seeing as Christmas and winter is right around the corner. Happy holidays to all!
This would be a great feature to have, you’ve got my vote!
Thank you so much for your vote! One reason I particularly want to see this feature is because winter is almost here and it would be cool to have some flights in the snow.
Ice gets pretty complicated in the aviation world, I suspect at a minimum a lot of pretty core changes would be needed if you want it to actually impact your flight.
Would love to see more votes from you guys. If we can get enough, maybe this will be a feature by winter of next year, which would be awesome.
This would be amazing, especially in places like Aspen just to see all the scenery covered with snow as you’re taking off in your beautiful private jet
I agree. Maybe somewhere in the Swiss Alps would be gorgeous
With Global coming out, maybe after global comes out we could have a new feature where there can be rain, tornadoes, hurricanes, lightning, snow, etc. It would make IF even more realistic and when Global is out, it would blow IF off the charts with incredible graphics and everything. I will happily be patient like I have for Global even though my device ain’t compatible, but I think this is something that IF users have always wanted.
Precipitation is the same thing as snow? 🤔
Voted! Even though I live in a tropical climate, im flying to wherever its snowy
Me too! I am a central Floridian, so I will appreciate any form of winter
@Claudio yes it is but the types of precipitation talked about in that category is more like rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and hurricanes, many of which aren’t actually precipitation
I vote for it ! For example they can make the ground white and not always green.
Yes! A bump! Although can I remake this by adding more pictures and adding a better description
