good evening everyone why there is no controller in Africa (generally in central and eastern Africa) Does he not have IFATC Africa controllers if or I ask you to provided control in Africa so that our continent was filled with planes and also organized events to attract people
Hello! Africa is usually not a popular area for pilots to fly in (and hence neither for IFATC). Luckily Africa is included in the ATC schedule, next time on Monday 27th!
Yeah thats why I made a series lol. @aatogamer the places in Africa IFATC always control are only Johannesburg and Addis Ababa which are the only popular ones. But they never spawn in countries in West Africa or Central Africa. Even HKJK, Nairobi that also is one of the largest and busiest airports in Africa, never has IFATC. You may think people just dont fly there because its not popular which is true but like if IFATC just spawns there, people will start flying there. Thats also why Im hosting a series taking part in the month of Feb called Wings over the West : A West Africa Takeover that i hope will make Africa busy. I hope to also continue to make more series in the coming months in Central Africa too.
Yeah I’d love to see more ATC in Africa but the thing is, most of IFATC are not motivated enough to stay at a dead airport for an hour. So I don’t think that’s gonna work. But we can feature Africa more in the schedules though. You can message Tyler with your feedback and he might add more African airports on the schedule. Would be nice to have some African events too featured in the schedule.
yes that’s correct but if a group of controllers gets used to controlling Africa the Traffic will come in large numbers because people like airports to control whatever their location
Yeah i will do that, Im also planning on making more events for Africa like the one im doing right now. pwease join ahhahah
Probably could work but it’d require some volunteers, I don’t know how many controllers would be up for it.
So far its only kadengg (my fav ifatc fr fr) to control the airports taking place in my events.
