Slow weather

I was approaching RPLL when I noticed the METAR, which said 0 SM for visibility. So I was anticipating heavy fog. However, as I was approaching the runway, the visibility from my view was still clear while the METAR of RPLL was still saying 0. Even as I touched down, it was still clear. Only when I was about to exit the runway is when the visibility changed from clear to poor in a span of a second. So now it was correct, the visibilities matched. But as I was taxiing, the visibility suddenly changed to clear again, in a second, and about a minute later, it changed back to 0. The METAR was still showing 0 SM the entire time. Anyone else experiencing this?

That’s unfortunately a pretty common issue (or at least has been a common issue).

Where the fog? Many people are having problems seeing fog only when landing. Any hints to fix this?

Thanks, however I just tried again at KAPA. I’ve included pictures of the metar. When I took off there was 3/4 fog everywhere. When I turned around to land it was all gone and didnt reappear till I sat on the red dot. This happens everywhere. Have you tried it? Fog not rendering in until landing

So today I was approaching Teterboro In the Citation because TEB’s visibility was 0 miles, while I was approaching I could easily see the runway and do a simple visual approach but once I landed, fog came in and I couldn’t see. Why didn’t the fog render in earlier and is there a way to fix it, thanks!
