SkyTerrace Spotting @KSFO!

Hello IFC!
Yesterday, I went spotting at SFO’s newly reopened SkyTerrace!
I would definitely recommend SkyTerrace to anybody visiting SFO or anybody that wants to spot at SFO, because the aircraft views are great, and it is open air, so you can hear the roar of departing aircraft! The glass was completely clean when I was there, and surprisingly, there were only 3 other people there!

Time for photos.

First up, we have a United 737-900 departing:

Next, we have two United CRJ-200s:

Next, we have our first heavy, a Japan Airlines 777 with the OneWorld livery:

Here is a comparison of United’s old livery and new livery:

Next, we have a United 737 pulling into a gate:

Next, we have a Frontier A320 NEO:

Finally, we have a United 787-9 slowing down on the runway:

Wow I never realized JAL used their 772’s on flights that long, I only thought they were domestic.

It might be due to reduced demand. 772s were designed as long-haul jets, after all. I find it interesting that they are used domestically!

These are some really cool photos! I’ll definitely have to go check out the SkyTerrace next time I fly out of KSFO.
