Hey fellow simmers, there’s early buzz that the SkyModz is expanding its immersive features—especially for Aerofly FS and Infinite Flight A popular community member recently teased that full Ground Crew animations and a PA-style announcement system are slated for release soon. No formal schedule has been shared yet, but it’s expected to add a whole new layer of realism—imagine hearing boarding calls, safety briefings, or arrival messages as you taxi in or warm up for departure!

As for Infinite Flight, there’s been no confirmed schedule about a PA system releasing or career-style tools from SkyModz—at least not publicly. If that changes, I’ll be sure to let you know!

Using the SkyModz PA System via Safari Sidebar While Flying

Open the PA System in Safari

1. Launch Safari on your Mac or iPad (or iPhone if you’re multitasking).

2. Go to the SkyModz PA web interface link (the one the SkyModz devs gave you).

3. Make sure it’s logged in or connected to your SkyModz session.

Activate Safari’s Sidebar View

• On Mac

  1. Resize Safari so it takes up only part of your screen, or use Split View.

  2. Drag Safari to the side of the screen, then drag your flight sim (Aerofly FS or Infinite Flight window) to the other side.

  3. Safari will stick to the side as a persistent panel.

• On iPad

  1. Open Safari with the PA system loaded.

  2. Swipe up slowly from the bottom to open the dock.

  3. Drag your sim app (Infinite Flight or Aerofly FS Global) to the other side.

  4. Now Safari will stay as a sidebar (Slide Over or Split View), letting you tap PA buttons without leaving the sim.

• On iPhone

  • You can’t have a floating Safari sidebar, but you can use Picture-in-Picture style floating window if you save the PA interface to your Home Screen as a Web App. Then, open it and quickly switch back to the sim — the PA interface will reload instantly when you swipe back.

Trigger PA Announcements While Flying

• The PA buttons (Boarding, Safety Briefing, Turbulence, Arrival, etc.) are clickable in the sidebar.

• When you tap a button:

  1. The audio will play immediately in your connected device.

  2. If your sim is on the same device, you’ll hear the PA layered over the sim sounds.

  3. If you’re on a second device (like iPad for PA + PC for Aerofly FS 4), the announcements will be sent through the second device’s speakers.

Tips for Smooth Operation

• Enable “Keep Awake” in Safari settings (or disable auto-lock) so your PA controls don’t disappear mid-flight.

• If you want faster access, save the SkyModz PA page as a Home Screen shortcut and open it in Standalone Mode — it removes Safari’s address bar for more screen space.

• Keep volume balanced so PA announcements are clearly audible over engine noise.

Frequently encountered issues

Not as frequent: Sound not playing 50%

Common: Voices not changing tone etc. 60%

Not as frequent: No sound at all 30%
