Following on from my previous SkyCards Trip Report to Hong Kong I decided to run the randomiser again and set off on my adventure! Please enjoy!

After a break from flying I got back into the stride of things, but did not do very well as I immediately got lost in the large airport of Frankfurt am Main Airport. I accidentally turned up to the First Class terminal after the taxi dropped me off in the wrong place, however, with some guidance from the staff I was quickly on my way again and arrived at gate A14 with time to take a quick snapshot of the aircraft I would be flying.
Boarding was very efficient and I found myself in seat 11F looking over the right engine and wing. Before long we were quickly underway and taxiing to runway 18. We only had to wait for 1 aircraft and after that we were quickly running down the South bound runway for takeoff.
After about an hour and playing mobile games on my phone and a few kicks in the back of my seat from the small child behind me, I looked out to watch the Western French coast disappear behind us as we started our short crossing over the Bay of Biscay to Spain.
Despite only just saying goodbye to the French coast I found us already descending into Northern Spain. While descending I was greeted by the Northern Spanish coast as we entered right downwing for runway 30.
As we banked to line up with the runway of Bilbao I was reminded why I love Northern Spain, the beautiful and peaceful rolling mountains! My mind was starting to run as I imagined all the delicious food and peaceful tranquility I was about to experience once again.
Despite the crosswinds we had quite a smooth touchdown on Bilbao’s slightly shorter runway.
Once I disembarked at gate 12 I made sure to quickly take a picture of the aircraft that carried us to Northern Spain once more before going to collect my baggage.
