SINGAPORE TO NEPAL
Today I decided to replicate SQ440 - a regular one by Singapore Airlines for which they use both a 737-800 and a 787-10. Since we don’t have the SQ livery in the baby Boeing, it was time to break out the monster version of the Dreamliner instead.
Departing runway 20R, I was looking forward to the scenery along the way and of course the famous Kathmandu approach. It was a quiet day in Singapore with only one other aircraft parked up and one inbound nearby.
I’ve only flown into VNKK on Infinite Flight once a long time ago from Bangkok and so it was a nice touch to find the airport is in 3D now. It’s a tricky one. Keeping the speed and controls nice and smooth, we weaved into the area and made a smooth landing first time. Not like the Thai Airways flight, when I did about 3 go arounds before successfully landing it!
I hope you enjoyed coming along for another scenic journey. All the best and good health to you.
