Singapore Airlines are known to many. It is of course the flag carrier of Singapore and is based in Singapore Changi International Airport. They plan to obtain 37 B737 MAX 8s in the fleet in the future and currently have 16 since writing this post.
Most of their B737 MAX came from their partner airline, Silk Air. But by the end of 2021, SilkAir ceased operations and transferred all their flights to its parent company, Singapore Airlines. Since then, they’ve accommodated them.
Singapore Airlines take their B737 MAX to many different parts of the world, whether that’s their longest being to Cairns, Australia, totalling to a flight time of 6 hours and 40 minutes, or their shortest, to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, only 40 minutes. I assure you having the Singapore Airlines B737 MAX 8 in the simulator, will open many more route opportunities and enhance realism.
