I don’t fly the 787-10 all that much due to how relatively limited its route network is as a result of how comparatively few carriers use it and how limited its range is, as compared to its smaller 787-8 and 787-9 siblings. The type is, however, a staple of medium-haul routes in the Far East, with the most prominent operators of the type being Singapore Airlines, EVA Air, and All Nippon Airways. Singapore Airlines has 32 787-10s, divided between the main airline (22) and its low-cost subsidiary, Scoot (10), with a further 10 airframes on order. Singapore uses its Dreamliners on short to medium-haul routes within Asia, along with one flight to Perth, Western Australia. Of these flight, the longest one is the route from Singapore to Tokyo-Narita. Here’s the flight:
Server: Solo
Airline: Singapore Airlines
Aircraft: Boeing 787-10
Origin: Narita International Airport, Chiba, Japan (NRT)
Destination: Singapore Changi Airport, Singapore, Republic of Singapore (SIN)
Flight Number: SQ637

Time En Route: 6 Hours 8 Minutes
Waiting to board at Gate 35 at Narita
Holding short of the longest runway in Japan, tied for first place with the two at Osaka-Kansai
Absolutely wasting no time getting out of NRT. As we ascend to our crusing altitude of 34,000 feet, Tokyo Bay, Downtown Tokyo, and Mount Fuji are all visible off the left wing.
High noon over the Pacific
Crossing the island of Luzon in the Philippines
Approaching the Malaysian coast on our descent
Landing in Singapore with the ATC tower for Changi Airbase in the background
Deplaned after a relatively quick flight
