SimRoster: What If You Had a Real Career in Infinite Flight? Airline Schedule, Type Ratings, Logbook & more | WIP

Yes pilots can file independent flights for their IF Virtual Airlines flagged as Events.

on the pilot side, a SimRoster user can file:

Flights for their Airline in SimRoster (Delta, United etc) - will share more soon.

Flights for their actual real Virtual Airlines if applicable (eg DLVA, provided DLVA set their SimRoster VA account).

When would this be available to use?

He said its still in development, probably month/s for the official release. Needs more adequate testing

Sooner then you think

However gotta make sure everything is top notch & on point. It will be very realistic everyone will feel like they are really working for an airline. So SimRoster alone regardless of the VA crew center tool, will change the way you use Infinite Flight forever.

when I say realism it’s to the point where it simulates an airline contract when you choose where you’ll work :). And much more !

Will this be for free, or for a fee :squinting_face_with_tongue::squinting_face_with_tongue:

If it does cost money, I beg that it is a once off and not a subscription :face_savoring_food:

Yes, this is a really great idea would pay a $2 lifetime fee at max

No need for sarcasm here, just asking a question mate

Too early to say anything about pricing nothing’s finalized.

What I can say is that if there is a cost, it will be to cover infrastructure and keep the tool high-quality and sustainable for the long term. The goal isn’t profit, it’s to build something valuable for the Infinite Flight community & beyond.

Realism Police, take note.

SimRoster is not just another add-on. It’s a full career simulator for Infinite Flight. You’ll get airline routes, schedules, WX, gates, passengers, weight and balance, and more.

And if you want the grind, you can start from zero and climb through licenses before stepping into the cockpit.

Launching in 2025, SimRoster will let you live the life of a real airline pilot day by day, flight by flight!

Still don’t know what SimRoster is? Check main post:

Hey it’s been a while any updates?

No updates yet

Bumping this amazing topic! I would love to see this come to life for my UA flights!

SimRoster Update :airplane:

Quick status report:

  • Target Release: Still on track for December for v1, as planned. Normally before Christmas.

  • Platforms: phone / tablet easy to use, anywhere, anytime just like in real life. No longer desktop only (this is what caused a slight delay because v0 was desktop first while the community mostly uses phones and tablets)

  • New Feature (outside of the main purpose of the app).
We’re adding a realistic FAA/EASA-style logbook for those who like to keep it professional, even in sim. And company messages ! Yes…you’ll get messages from your selected airline across available Airlines (20+ for v1 and more will be added on futur versions).

And by the way

If you’re wondering why I’m not flooding the thread with screenshots every week: it’s intentional everything changes. Just like Infinite Flight, I don’t show what I’m not 100% confident will ship

Pricing : TBA as we approach release!

Very excited to bring this to life and use it for Infinite Flight flights and beyond! One word: Realism.

This looks very promising and exactly what we were looking for - consider ASVA interested! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Will this be a full-fledged Crew Center with focus on career mode or is it an addon to existing crew centers?

Is there a beta program for VA staff to participate in?

Version 1 will focus exclusively on individual pilots. It simulates a personal airline career ranks, routes, schedules without requiring Virtual Airline membership or any VA integration.

Exemple: I choose to work for United Airlines I’ll get real United Airlines flights and progression. It’s all simulated in SimRoster without needing a VA.

The Virtual Airline (VA) Crew Center will be a separate product line, later, it’ll have it own thread. For now, all attention goes to the single-user experience.

I see! We’ll eagerly wait then for the VA version. Is there already a rough timeline for that? Like expected release in a year or so?
