Update: New Airlines & Route Refresh :airplane_departure:

Five new airlines just landed in both Career Mode and Flight Browser:

Luxair · Air China · Transavia · Ethiopian Airlines · Air New Zealand

Also pushed a full route refresh across several carriers to keep everything current. Spirit Airlines is still in the app but marked as Legacy following their bankruptcy.

Not sure what Flight Browser is? It’s our new feature on top of Career Mode, 10,000+ real routes, any airline on top of your career, no career contract needed.

Learn more about SimRoster:

It’s Wednesday.

You’ve got 3 hours free and want a flight out of Istanbul.

Open SimRoster.
Go to Flight Browser.
Instantly access thousands of real-world flights departing from Istanbul around the 3-hour mark.

Want something specific? Filter by:

  • Aircraft
  • Airline
  • Region
  • Country

This user flies for Ethiopian Airlines in Career Mode. But Flight Browser is an entirely separate layer added on top of the career experience.

SimRoster started as a simple virtual airline career tool.
Now it’s becoming the go-to platform for discovering and planning flights.

As you can see we also shipped an update where you can turn off the Airline colors and simply have SimRoster classic minimalism ! Very cool for those who don’t really want a career but rather focus on the flight browser, bookmarks, and logbook!

This solves the "I would like to fly an A333 today out of X place for Y duration. Repeat this process infinitely in Infinite flight (How was that line? haha)

Hi everyone please do not hesitate to put feature requests and feedbacks here for improvements !

We have cool ideas for the future but we also want to hear yours.

Work in progress: Build your own calendar with ALL 32 airlines across 15.000+ routes!

SimRoster’s career mode gives you a contract, a base, and a roster that moves you forward. Flight Browser already lets you explore real routes from airlines you don’t “work” for, and bookmark the ones you care about.

We’re adding the missing piece: your personal schedule.

Save a route from the catalog, put it on a day, and see it on a calendar next to your career assignments. Plan a long-haul on Tuesday, a short hop on Thursday, another carrier on the weekend, all from the same route data you already browse, without touching rank or contract progression.

Think of it as a second layer on the calendar: career on one side, free-flight plans on the other. Bookmarks stay your shortlist; the calendar is where the week takes shape

The Custom Flight Schedule is now available ! And More

SimRoster became much more than a career mode tool the moment we launched the Flight Browser.

With access to 15.000+ flights across all 32 airlines (with more being added weekly), at any time, combined with an extensive set of filters, you can easily answer questions such as:

  • “I want to fly a Boeing 777 out of Miami for around 6 hours.”
  • “I want to fly a Transavia route within Europe for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.”

Simply apply your filters and SimRoster will find flights that match exactly what you’re looking for.

But it goes even further.

You can now build your own personal flight schedule outside of Career Mode, combining flights from any airline in the world.

Create a calendar where you fly Delta on Monday, Transavia on Tuesday, Air China on Thursday, or even multiple flights with different airlines on the same day.

In other words, you can design your own unique and virtually limitless aviation experience, with every flight planned and organized for you through a beautiful and intuitive interface.

Full 2.3 Changelog
  • NEW: Personal flight calendar. Pick a date for any Flight Browser route and see it on your Calendar and Home, separate from your airline roster.
  • NEW: Calendar has Career and Personal views with month, week, and day layouts so you can plan the line and your own legs in one place.
  • NEW: Upcoming personal flight on Home sits next to your next career assignment. Hide career or Hide personal if you only fly one way.
  • IMPROVED: Calendar icon on route cards and flight details makes scheduling a route a single tap, with a simple date picker.
  • IMPROVED: Calendar opens in month view when you are exploring, and week view when you have an active subscription, so the first screen matches how you use the app.
  • FIX: Rare career scheduling cases where some pilots could see more than one long-haul duty on the same day. Pairings now follow more realistic return and rest timing.

Hi there was a bug about in app message which spammed PIREP validation false positives.

It has been fixed.

More information on other features we added recently via the hotfix soon!

@Babacar

Bug (ICAO code and Type not matching):

Please make some things free. The younger people on here, (like me), would love to use it. You can’t expect younger kids that don’t have bank accounts to pay for it. Just add some sort of free plan. That’s all we’re asking. Thank you.
