Hello guys! Is Simbrief recommended for flights in Infinite Flight? I had some people say yes and I had some say no. Does anyone have any opinions? Thanks!

ever since the integration was added i always used simbrief for IF. i recommend it

I say use it. I’d highly suggest you create a custom airframe instead of using their default airframes because performance in IF may not ali6with that of SimBrief.

It’s supposed to be free and more advanced things you buy a subscription. I didn’t pay anything. All I did was create an account.
Alright! Do you currently use Simbrief? When I signed up, it asked for a subscription. I know you can use it for free, but is the subscription worth it?
I do currently use Simbrief. I couldn’t tell you if the subscription is worth it or not because I haven’t bought it.
You go to SimBrief.com, hit login, click sign in, choose one of the 3 sign in methods. Or, you can create a Navigraph account (which I never opted for so maybe that’s why it may ask about subscription). If it asks for a subscription, scroll to the bottom and hit the option that says something like “Maybe Later” and it should bring you to the dispatch page where you do all the nifty stuff and create your flights.

Yeah, that makes sense. I would say the basic Simbrief plan is perfectly fine with me. Infinite Flight Pro is more worth it.

Subscription is worth when you want to have latest AIRAC (Aeronautical Information Regulation and Control) cycle update. Best is you subscribe for 1 time and then use the latest cycle. Might be use last until 6-12 months cycle.

This is one reason I mainly use it but it’s kind of hit and miss with IF so don’t expect it to be very useful with full potential due to potential waypoints mismatch with the older airac cycle used in IF outside us and the route calculator feature is now even better giving you realistic routes across eu including flight departing to asia and other continents from Europe. So definitely the best time to get a sub and check this out for a free sub.

Since it’s been integrated into IF I basically use it for every single flight except for VFR GA flying. It makes planning your route much easier and more realistic.
I use simbreif all the time just love it.
