Quick question but why does simbrief not automatically put in the approach for the runway when it makes you the flight plan. I was starting a flight from Beijing Daixing (ZBAD) → Los Angeles (KLAX) on a 777-300er.The flight plan makes the departure and arrival as well as all the other way points in between, but not the approach into the RWY. Why is that?
Simbrief doesn’t have that functionality.
Probably because the approach type depends on various factors such as weather, available equipment onboard the aircraft, etc…so it leaves that for the pilot/ATC to decide
I’m not sure really but what I do know is that simbrief’s arrivals are usually too high so you’re better off removing it and re adding it off of IF
i just remove the final waypoint which is the airport and then i add the approach manually
simbrief isnt always reliable, sometimes it gives me waypoints on the otherside of the planet…
Ive noticed its only for SID and arrival (would be nice if we had vnav for climb).
