Maybe you need to add the airline code and flight number? Try it, if it fails, then I’m out of options.
I’ve never added those and never had an issue.
Well, out of options then.
Outdated AIRAC maybe
Try making a route to a bigger airport like egll since the airways to go that way are actually the same.
What’s the range of the 777F? Looks like it’s 9,000km googling and your route is around 16,000km
SimBrief operates mostly on route databases and doesn’t “generate” routes very much. It usually has a route already in a database for most city pairs so when it has to “generate” a route, it has to use fixes and airways that it knows. Looks like SimBrief doesn’t have any airways or fixes (probably due to the obscurity of the route) to use for some reason so it just spits out that route.
You could make your destination EBBR and then change the route and approach to EBGL as the airports are quite close to each other
it says 9000nm
777F range is 4,880 nm (according to google…)
Try putting in an A380 and see if generates a route @JinYi_Fan
you’re right, wikipedia says it has 4970nm
EBBR is working well. 4880nm is definitely too short for 777F and this is a real world flight for TNT.
SimBrief often can’t find routings between extremely unlikely pairings (you will find this a lot when dealing with near-antipodal flights). What I usually do is go from origin to some (major) airport, then take the flight plan (excluding the STAR) and paste it somewhere. Then go from that airport to the destination and take that flight plan (excluding the SID) and append it. Then, enter your desired airports and paste the frankenplan you have into the “Route” section and hit analyze. This usually works well enough for me and SimBrief will still give you fuel numbers and whatever.
For what it’s worth, I was able to get a route for this (probably because I have Navigraph Unlimited and I’m on 2411):
Here if you want it
NEVIS BORTO DUKES DRINA AD AREPA VEPOK FRAZA ABTOD CDU BEZZA PINAV LANOP BIDAP GUKON PD OSOTO DOMOM SAPDA IPKON IMABA HLM BIKAL BIDAK TODAK ENPUX POSOG BAVAL OMDUD ATLIR SJ LEGOL LAPOL GUMPU VJB AROSO AKRUL KALIL IRMIB OGANA BIKDU VIH RINBA GUTEB DUBAX UTHAI OSVIP URGAD PUT UPSAB MUDMA IKULA OBMOG LALAT SADUS MEPEL DABEN BUBKO BUMRO KAKID MAVLA AGROM DADSO LAPAN DOMET IGONA BUTOP GUGAL NITIV JHANG LEBIB DI REGET DOBAT MESRA PATOX NEVIV VUVEN PAGMA LEMOD NINOP ABDAN BODBA KEKAL ABEKO BIBIM MAHYM TABAB MARAL BISNA BALIP MKL UNEDI GOTIK NEGUB RISKA OGEMO ALZIT GIRTI STW LEGNA ROTIM UH ASGIT OLGIN TOKMU DOTEL REPLI ETOKA KOSNA NIROV KOROP NALAD GORKU DIBED VAREN ATKEK NATIX LUXAR GEVNA MOKMU XEVBA SKAVI USALO TUSIN RAPET UNAVI KULOK LONLI SULUS KOMIB RASPU OSBIT LOHRE ESAMA UMUPU EBLG
However, if you can’t, here’s the procedure:
(Pretend this is not showing a route)
I see that the routing routes pretty close to VIDP, so I make a temporary routing.
I take everything but the STAR, transition, and the last airway:
KEPPA2 KEPPA H164 IBABI 32S140E 30S139E 25S137E 22S135E 20S134E 15S131E 13S130E ELBIS M768 TSH R468 ELMOP P629 MUBUS M633 TANEK L301 DWI M626 POXEM P646 DOPID Z12 JJS P646 BBN R460 LKN
Then, I go VIDP to destination.
I take everything after the SID, transition, and first airway:
DI N644 LEMOD A909 RODAR N644 ROLIN UN644 KARDE SUNUM UW90 INB UL746 ODERO DEGET ABETI RENKA MAMOR PETIX BOMBI ADKUV LNO LNO6D
Then, I attach the two:
KEPPA2 KEPPA H164 IBABI 32S140E 30S139E 25S137E 22S135E 20S134E 15S131E 13S130E ELBIS M768 TSH R468 ELMOP P629 MUBUS M633 TANEK L301 DWI M626 POXEM P646 DOPID Z12 JJS P646 BBN R460 LKN DI N644 LEMOD A909 RODAR N644 ROLIN UN644 KARDE SUNUM UW90 INB UL746 ODERO DEGET ABETI RENKA MAMOR PETIX BOMBI ADKUV LNO LNO6D
I put in YMML-EBLG again and then paste that into the “Route” box and hit “analyze”. Fix up any errors that may show.
Then, you’re all set! For what its worth this flight plan only takes about 20 minutes longer than the routing Simbrief gave me the first time so it certainly can work if you pick the right intermediate.
Reported ranges for cargo are generally full cargo and then fill up as much fuel as you can, so by reducing a little cargo you can get a whole lot more range. That’s why a lot of cargo aircraft have way less claimed range than their passenger-carrying buddies.
