final question guys when loading flight plan and load from simbreif do I need to empty the aircraft load and fuel before loading simbreif fuel and load ?
Because when I load the weight and all giving by simbreif the load just get added to what’s already on the aircraft on infinite flight
No, the integrated SimBrief loading will SET the weight of each component (ie. baggage and passengers) to what it is set on the flight plan you created. All you need to do is generate the flight plan on SimBrief and load it in after. Keep in mind that you MUST load the flight plan in BEFORE you get out of the gate, and also that the flight plan you load in will be the most recent flight plan you generated, and if you want to load in a different one, you must regenerate that flight plan.
But the passengers on simbreif isn’t what is on the plane after loading it because I try to check so does infinite flight add to them ?
I do not get mostly what you are getting at, but in SimBrief you can change the weight of the passengers (the default weight of each of them) and for the bags too. The passenger’s weight are put into the aircraft, and what you see is a random amount of passengers, normally around 3/4 filled, if the selection is on auto. You can also change the amount of passengers you want to load, which will change also the baggage amount and fuel amount as well
Yes what I’m saying is after loading it on infinite flight if simbreif give let’s say 200 passengers after loading it on infinite flight I tend to see more than that amount of passengers
That is because the in-game weights of passengers are not exactly how it is set in SimBrief, but do not worry as the whole weight of the passengers is not affected and will stay the weight that is set
One important thing is, that after the import from SimBrief to IF, you need to reconfigure the cargo load of the plane, except you are flying a cargo machine. Because of some error, IF takes the cargo and the baggage, which seems to be the same in SimBrief. Means, if SimBrief has 4000 cargo, IF will have at least 8000 cargo. That often leads to overweight. Anything else should be pretty okay. Try to only adjust this parameter AFTER you loaded the SimBrief flight plan and BEFORE releasing the parking break for push back.
This is because you’ll have to do a little adjusting in simbrief. The default passenger weight in simbrief is 175 lbs (or 72kg I think), but in IF it is between 169 and 170 lbs (or 70kg). Now in smaller planes this weight change doesn’t matter, but in larger planes it does. So, when you make an airframe, you must change the pax weight accordingly. This will make for a much smaller margin of error
But when trying to change the cargo weight I find it difficult to get simbreif exact cargo weight on infinite flight sliding the bars to change makes the figures run quick
You will just have to get close enough. The reality is that 10-20 extra pounds means almost nothing to a 100,000+ lbs aircraft
