Sick Child forces Health Scare Quarantine on Qantas

Story: Passengers sat on a plane for two hours at Christchurch Airport after a health scare sparked by a sick child. Flight QF139 arrived in Christchurch from Sydney about 11pm on Saturday night but passengers were put in quarantine. The pilot made the call to quarantine the plane and airport first responders were not allowed on so St John Ambulance attended. It is understood passengers were allowed off at about 1am but the child had to stay on the plane. It is known that one passenger was taken to Christchurch hospital.

This just happened not too long ago on an A380 quarantine is the necessary precautions to avoid the spread of a disease. Though it may feel intrusive it is absolutely necessary for the well-being of everybody on board including the child.
