Have you ever felt confused or might be anxious when you landed at an airport that wasn’t too big…, but you know that in the real world, the airport that you just landed can accommodate the wide-body aircraft you’ve already used to land at this airport?
The purpose of this feature request is to make it easier for users who want to find gates at an airport that he just landed according to the size of the plane and the size of the gates so they don’t park in the wrong gates. I think this happens quite often to users who just landed but don’t really know the sizes of the gates at the airport. Especially to an airport that is not large, but it can accommodate wide-body aircraft.
For example, i use VRMM airport layout to to see which gates work for wide body aircraft
Roughly the workflow of this feature:
You have touched down the runway
then you open the map, or zoom in on your minimap, on the gates a red or white dot appears just like when you select the gates spawn indicating the size of the plane you are using is able or not at those gates
more or less like that, I welcome if you have other feedback
I believe this is already a feature as I use this when opening the map from time to time, you just have to zoom into the airport map when close by to the airfield or on the ground.
If you zoom on the map, you shall be able to see all the gates that can fit your aircraft and it will show a blue dot/ If it doesn’t fit, you will see no dot there, just a yellow line most likely if Im not wrong.
