Should I get this joystick?

I’ve been on Amazon a bit and I found a joystick that I like but I don’t know I really need it… What do you guys think?

I have used this and ended up returning it only due to the fact that it had occasional laggy response time but, that all does depend on your wireless connection.

Why would you by a joystick for a mobile game? If you are planning to use it for X-Plane 11 or P3D then yes for sure you should get it, but in my opinion, you honestly don’t need to spend almost for $60 just for a joystick that you can easily do without.

It’s useful if you don’t want to hold your phone (or if you want to simulate being an Airbus pilot)

I would recommend picking up a joystick if you spend any serious time in IF, unless you’re really good with the accelerometer, which I never was.

My personal favorite inexpensive option is the Thrustmaster T16000M, usually available for around $50 USD. Works great with IF and also a great place to start for PC flight sims if you do any of that. Solidly built and no issues. I was actually somewhat surprised with the quality and precision for being in the inexpensive price range. That logitech you posted also seems to be well liked in the inexpensive range as well.

In my opinion, It’s just as easy and fun to fly with the accelerometer. It would be great for a PC simulator, but it’s just not worth it for a mobile device.

I have to second the T16000M recommendation. It’s a very solid joystick.

I have the logitech joystick and use it all the time. 10/10 would recommend.

In my opinion this is the best joystick in this price range. I have one myself, it works like a charm every time I use it.

Had that one since 2007. Solid base. Reliable.
When I bought IF in 2016 I upgraded to Thrustmaster HOTAS X which is $15 more.
Yours is well worth the price. $35 US on Amazon.
Do not get any Katz sticks. They are cheap.

I’ve had one of these for many years, eve since I began flight simming. It works great and has a nice selection of customizability, especially for the price.
