Should I Get Nothing Phone (2a) for IF?

Hello everyone, I’m choosing for a new phone for myself soon but don’t know which one is the best suit for me, especially since I’m on a tight budget of $450 below (<RM2,000). I’m looking for a reliable phone that can last at least 2-3 years with a good performing processor.

I’ve been considering a used Samsung Galaxy S23 but it’s still above my budget. However, I’m also considering the Nothing Phone (2a) since it’s a lot cheaper. The upcoming Phone (3a) doesn’t seem to be a worthy upgrade as well, so it’s unlikely I will grab one.

So basically rn, I’m targetting Nothing Phone (2a) and I’d like to ask if it can run IF at this graphics setting:

All set to low, except:

  • Rendering quality high
  • Texture quality high
  • AA off
  • 60fps
  • Traffic density high

What do you think of the phone? Any other suggestions are welcomed (except iPhones, I don’t want them), thank you 😊

I think any phone can handle infinite flight (modern phones) so you should be fine. It depends mostly on your preference, and I prefer bigger screens to help. (as I have very chubby fingers)

The Nothing Phone (2a) should handle those settings well, but if you’re looking for better long-term performance, I’d suggest the Xiaomi 13T or Realme GT Neo — both have stronger processors and better optimization. The Galaxy S21 FE is also a solid pick if you prefer Samsung’s software support!
