I just sat on PHOG approach. Guys, a climb up to FL250 is NOT needed for a flight between PHNL and PHOG.
Also, me and another controller was just switching positions, and we ask you to maintain your heading and stay on the frequency for at least one minute after the facility ha closed. This way we’ll have enough time to switch and therefore keep good sequencing.
Due to the fact that people actually turned and speeded up without approach’s permission it was very hard to get everything back, therefore I also want to say sorry since I had to focus on getting people to follow instructions instead of clearing for some ILS approaches
