As an IFATC controller, I’ve had the chance to help some friends and even aspiring controllers who dreamed of joining IFATC one day. Seeing their excitement and progress has been incredibly rewarding and really shows how special this community is. Moments like these make us feel part of something bigger, and that’s what makes the IFC so unique!

Once I was flying a group flight with a fellow community member @Deval_Surana. I used to slow down — before the ILS Cone used to start. It used to disrupt the traffic flow unfortunately I wasn’t aware about it especially I didn’t understand when ATC used to tell maintain 180kts until 6 miles final and Deval pinged me in the server and made me understand about the speeds, unfortunately he was a bit annoyed by my action but later we solved it in DMs of discord. I don’t know why but this is the most helpful thing a member as done!

Amazing story, I’m also preparing for IFATC and my friend @Hardeep_Pannu is always kind enough to correct me — even he made a special VC in discord to explain me about Upwind Conflict.

It has avoided many potential violations as well

That’s awesome! Absolutely, anytime you need guidance or have questions, feel free to send me a message. Happy to help you out as you prepare for IFATC!
