SFO procedures

Hello! Happy New Year!
I usually file the ILS approach to 28L and 28R when flying to San Francisco. I was just wondering, when the visibility is good, should I use a visual approach to 28L/R, and if so, what procedures should I file, if any.
Thanks!

You can file basically any procedure you want and just request a visual. Radar will usually just have you continue as you filed, then report the airport insight when you get closer.

There’s a great website I like to use to find the approaches & runways in use. It’s https://datis.clowd.io/. In the case of SFO, here is the current D-ATIS:

SFO ATIS INFO C 0434Z SPECIAL. 25009KT 10SM FEW007 BKN011 11/09 A3001 (THREE ZERO ZERO ONE). SIMULTANEOUS CHARTED VISUAL FLIGHT PROCEDURES IN USE. LNDG RWYS 28L, 28R. DEPG RWYS 1L, 1R.

So in this case, the visuals are currently being used, but the charted ones. They can be found below, I sourced them from SkyVector. Another good resource is Navigraph.

Basically this is what you should be using right now.
