Severe FPS drop at RPLL

Hey everyone,

I just landed at Ninoy Aquino Airport , and my screen completely froze up, leaving me with a miserable 10 FPS.

Here’s how it went down: I was holding at 9,000 feet waiting for my approach, and my frames were completely fine—around 40 to 50 FPS. However, once I was on final and passed 3,000 feet, the FPS plummeted to under 20.

By the time I actually touched down, the game turned into a complete slideshow, averaging a painful 11 FPS. I originally wanted to taxi to the parking gate, but with this stuttering, I just had to give up and close the app.

I wonder if it’s just me, or is everyone else experiencing this too?

I’d suggest you make a Support topic, as this really isn’t in the appropriate category. As for your question I was controlling there earlier and didn’t notice any issues

In the past, my game only lagged when I was in external view, but today this all happened while using the HUD view.

Interesting. What device do you use? As that could be the factor

Em iPad Pro M4

Okay. That device should be able to handle the graphics just fine. My suggestion would be to do a device restart and then spawn in at the same airport and see if you still have the issue. Hope this helps!

My flight wasn’t too long this time—only 11 hours in total. I flew the entire route online without using AP+. I did turn on ‘automatic low power’ during cruise, but I made sure to turn it off before the descent.

OK I’ll reinstall the app and give it a shot like you said.

I faced the same issue

Could be your graphics or it could also be traffic. I was flying out of RPLL yesterday and my phone was on the verge of blowing up because of all the planes

Is your device an iPad too? I did what he said and it actually worked. I guess it has to do with the cache, especially for M Silicon

YES, could be too many players online at the time.

Yes i have an ipad air. I faced this issue during approach. It started lagging which never happened before
