Hello, not sure if this has been noted before but Ive had nothing but issues since the update
KDEN was a dirt runway airport (yes, ive cleared my cache and restarted the device)
That isnt a big deal
the ATC screen still takes up the whole screen at times.
It’s been an ongoing issue.
i was in the air for 11.5 hours (JFK - OMAA) in the A380. Been cruising along and came back to a device that stated “crash”.
When i want to look as to what happened and click on replay, the game gets the loading screen for about a minute then crashes.
After 15 tries i gave up.
Yes, ive restarted the game many times and uninstalled and re-installed it. This cant be the only excuse to try get this going. Worked well before the update
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Known issue, turn off auto-screen rotation while you’re playing IF in order to minimize the chances of this happening.
What’s the runway identifier for this one?
Three whole airport was a desert.
Not just one runway. But it was 17R
Check your device storage. Runways or airports won’t load if you’re running out of storage.
I know for a fact nothing was sent to OR on my side for a dirt runway at Denver.
Space should be fine. 30 free gigs

Try re-installing the app, if it’s not fixed by now.

But those are all minor issues…
The main issue im concerned with is that the A380 just crashed after a 12 hour flight and i cant see why.
Every time i want to look at the replay, the app crashes.
What’s your graphics set to? Is Anti-Aliasing turned on? What’s your FPS?
A tip you can try is on longer flights turn your screen brightness all the way down.
Yeah, brightness is all the way down.
Ive done this flight 2 days in a row and really only after the update did it start with the issues.
Rendering: medium, 3d density: medium, rendering revolution: high, texture: mediun, anti aliasing: off, frame rate 30fps

In that case, I’m assuming it’s a part of all the crashes that other users have been reporting. A fix should be coming soon for it.

Hm, okay. Why does this not get noticed before its released?
Also, the “dont get too close to aircraft” message always appears
Too close to aircraft is another known issue internally.
We’re a small team of testers. Being released to the masses can cause new issues that we’re unable to find in testing.

I completely understand that.
I appreciate all the things that have happened in the past few years.
Been playing this for the past 6 years and it’s really a difference between night and day.
But when it keeps crashing or keeps having issues it robs the fun a little bit. Then adds frustration and so on.
I know it’s just the beginning of the release and things will get fixed but i thought id start by pointing some things out.
Anyway, thanks for all your help
Before i forget: is there a way to edit your callsign in-flight?
Not anymore, it’s under the airport selection before you start your flight.
See here of what Seb said:
Fair points.
Not really. As you can see, the account management settings have been moved now. I understand your points, I do. But re-engineering how certain things work because of muscle memory and forgetting (we all do, no shame) isn’t really how to do things either :)
Certain things have to change sometimes and you have to retrain your brain :)
