Hey whenever I try to go on the app it says that the servers are down can someone help

Hello, welcome to the community! As of now servers seem to be running fine. They recently added a new server status you can also check, if you can’t find anything there look here on the IFC if anything is down. As for your issue, you can try to restart your device, or check your internet.

Adding on to what @Mattchew said above, Infinite Flight recently released a new tool to check Server Status. As you can see, as of today (0406Z) there are no shortage to IF’s servers.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues.

Since the servers are running just fine, this seems like a (local) network issue or a device issue.

Which service provider are you using and from which country?
There are a few providers that are known to have issues.

The app needs a stable Internet connection to work properly.

Sometimes a VPN is known to cause issues.
Is the network you are using at the moment using a VPN?

There are also some other things you could try yourself:

  • restart/reboot the device to see if that makes a difference
  • check the network connection by running a speedtest tool like https://www.speedtest.net/ and post a screenshot of the results
  • try a different (Wi-Fi) network, to see if that helps

When further assistance is needed, please specify which device (brand and type) and OS version you are using.
