Hey everyone, last time in ES’s TS/T, I served as controller for 2 hours and 22 minutes, but when I checked the leaderboard, I wasn’t on it. I don’t know why. I asked my friend, and he said it was because my internet was bad. But I checked the replies and found no issues. I’m really curious about why this happened.
What do you mean “on the leaderboard?”

He means that his name is not listed among the ones shown on the in-game leaderboard.

Do you mean the search function that shows which airports have live ATC? I’m really just trying to understand the issue at hand, I genuinely don’t know quite what the problem is. My guess would be some need to refresh, but I honestly have no clue.

When you enter the game and click on the three lines in the top-left corner of the screen, a menu appears. When you select the “Leaderboards” option from that menu, a ranking like this appears on your screen.
That’s the ranking our friend’s referring to.

Hello,
I think I remember seeing this on the discord once, the ATC time is consecutive ATC minutes, and anything like an game crash will stop the consecutive time.
Also the support category or the IFATC discord is usually meant for things like this.

I’m glad I now know about it.
In this case @Ethan_YW, it appears that 2 hrs 22 min wouldn’t put you on the leaderboard. It’s a brand new week, so stats have reset which is probably why even if you’d accumulated more hours it still wouldn’t show up.

It’s likely there was a disruption in your connection with the server, even momentarily, and that meant it wasn’t a continuous period of time.
It’s happened to me a few times, even when I’ve not notice the connection drop.

Once, I controlled the VABB just 3-4 days after joining the IFATC for a nonstop 4-5 hours. Still, I can’t find my name in the leaderboard.
I want justice.

He didn’t have Lost all and didn’t disconnect the network.
Y’all, the leaderboard is from October 5th through 12th. Not only did @Ethan_YW post this topic on October 14th, but also a time of 2hrs and 22mins would NOT be on the leaderboard. He may not have lost connection, but that still wouldn’t put him on the leaderboard.
As a side note, the leaderboard does not update every second. I don’t know how often it does, but it may be a day or two, or longer before it updates. Maybe it’s once a week 
Thus, you wouldn’t see yourself on the leaderboard right away.

The leaderboard, as you mentioned, resets every week. However, if you take a closer look at the game, you can see that up to 30 players are ranked, and the player at the bottom has less total control time than Ethan. This indicates that it may be included in the rankings.

@Ethan_YW do you have a screenshot of the time stamp for your replay? Also, try making a quick flight in any server, this often works to update stats correctly, which might be affecting the leaderboard

The session often has small, unnoticeable disconnections, which reset the session time. Has happened to me and others countless times. There’s no fix for this. Control again next week and hope for the best.
