SOUTH KOREA TO VIETNAM
Today I brought HL7490 back to life - a Boeing 747 delivered to Korean Air in 1994 and then scrapped in 2015, only to be left out in a desert somewhere scavenged for spares and repairs. That’s not want we want to see is it?
We’re heading off to Hanoi today - a route operated by Korean Air both on their passenger and cargo routes, using the 747 and 777 on the cargo ops and the A330 on the passenger journeys.
I’m doing a cargo run today on KE361. I’ve filled the old bird’s belly with several tons of chop sticks and rubber ducks. Cruising at 34,000 feet, our route took us out over the East China Sea, over Shanghai, the length of south east China nearing Hong Kong and down into Vietnam.
It was great to great to get this old bird back in the sky again and please enjoy the scenery along the way.
Good times!
