Security distance when runway changes

Hey there!

At @RJOO we have two parallel runways (14L, 14R, 32L, 23R). We are doing pattern work, and we have 1 aircraft on left base runway 32L and another on right base 32R. Those aircraft are directly facing each other and both request a runway change, will be safe to issue a runway change in that situation?

My personal opinion is as runways are separated by less than 100ft, I will not issue runway change. But in the case I issue a runway change, the minimum VFR separation will still be achieved?

I wouldn‘t change their runway assignments at this point. They can do it after the touch & go.
