If he isn’t on the IFC then he is having a completely different experience of IF. He probably was flying round the FNFs because he was confused as to why there was a huge cluster of people there. (Bear in mind events are something that exists only to forum members).
But as always this is no excuse for misconduct and disrespect for server rules.
