Hello, I have seen that people post their screenshots from Infinite flight to here on IFC with a very high quality, but whenever I try to upload any it compresses its size to a very low quality, I take screenshots from the replay where we have that screenshot option, also when I check my phone’s album it is in a very high quality there, but I don’t know what’s the matter when I upload it on IFC.
It would be great if I can get assistance for this as I have some cool photos to upload here.
I honestly don’t think there’s anything wrong. When you import and upload your photos to the community, they aren’t going to be as high quality as they appear in your camera roll. Check the images from this post and let me know if they look similar to yours when you import them.
As you can see in the above post, the images there are in mb format and when you click the image and zoom it is same when you check your screenshots from your albums like you get to see every details.
You only have reason to be concerned if it’s such a pixelated picture that you can’t tell what aircraft it is. And believe me, that’s hard because most everyone in this community can tell a 737-800 from a -900 😂
I get that it’s frustrating, but the quality you’re looking for is only going to be on your device. From personal experience, I know that getting the best quality is not easy whatsoever. If you want to see every detail from your screenshots in 4K, it’s not going to translate perfectly from your device to the IFC.
I’m not sure how @NonStopsAviation was able to get such a high-quality photo (props to him), so I’m stumped there. I’m not an expert on image quality; I’m just speaking from what I’ve seen and gathered over the years.
