I do not know if that happens to y’all too but whenever I am on final approach my phone screen turns darker than it was before making it really hard to land especially at night.
If you know why this happens and how to fix it that would be very helpful. Thanks.

Does the screen dim gradually during the flight? Or is it a sudden dimming at the end of the flight?
Does it get dimmer after receiving a violation warning by any chance?
Sometimes it happens to me, but it’s my iPhone doing it. If I darken the room before landing to help Landon at night, my phone starts adjusting itself and I have to brighten it. Never had the app do it
Really just before landing. About 8 mile final.
Maybe since it happens when you’re on final, the phone might become under more stress. This might lead to exessive battery usage, making the phone automatically dim to save battery. It could also do this to prevent lag, crashing, etc.
That would make a lot of sense. Especially with the amount of visible aircraft being set to very high.
