I have found a lot of issues/topics regarding screen burn-in on static elements. I would like to play IF and let it run overnight, etc., but I don’t want my display to be damaged if it doesn’t have to be.
I see multiple possibilities for solving this problem during long flights or gaming sessions. Any kind of dynamic camera is good enough to prevent this. I set the UI timeout, but it does not hide the bottom UI bar.
Can we have an option to hide this bottom bar as well? The bright texts and buttons can potentially cause burn-in. With a hidden bottom bar and a dynamic camera set, it would function like a screen saver with constantly changing pixels.
Other possible options include:
A night overlay that is darker and constantly changing, acting like a screen saver
An ultra-low quality “night mode” to preserve battery health
What do you think, guys?
Thanks for your hard work. I will appreciate any response, tips, or tricks.
Device: iPhone 14 Pro Operating system: iOS (any version)
I’m also sometimes concerned about this. What I usually do is set the camera to “circling camera”. I also set the time to night so that my screen is a bit darker however I have no idea if it has any affect on screen saving.
Sorry, I totally overlooked this option. I am quite new to Infinite Flight, and really love this game. But at the same time I am concerned about “health” of my device as well.
Anyway, thank you for your help. Totally appreciate it!
