SCAT Airlines is the airline of Kazakhstan. Central Asia, Headquarters located in Shymkent. Hubs: Aktau, Alma-Ata, Nur-Sultan, Shymkent. In 2015, the airline passed the audit procedure of the International Air Transport Association for compliance with the IOSA standard.
The airline operates 55 scheduled flights within Kazakhstan, as well as subsidized flights to Usharal[5], Kokshetau, Petropavlovsk and Taldykorgan. 40 international flights are operated to Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, China, India, Thailand, Japan, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Mongolia.
On March 31, 2018, SCAT received[6] the latest Boeing 737 MAX 8, thus becoming the first operator of this model in post-Soviet countries. An agreement was signed with the Boeing Corporation for the purchase of five more of the same aircraft.
