Alaska Airlines will phase out Virgin Atlantic brand before the end of 2019. With Alaska being a long time Boeing airliner some questions still remain on what the long term strategy for Virgin’s Airbuses is. Alaska has also confirmed new cabins for their Boeing fleet and expanded 1st class seats for the Airbuses, both starting in 2018.
Bye bye Virgin America! 👋🏼
We’ll miss you Virgin America! We won’t forget you!
Their CEO shut down my VA so you won’t be missed :) (I’m kidding about the being missed part.)
Anyway I’ll miss the American flag winglets
:(
Loved seeing them in SFO. Hope they keep one livery on there plane and still inherit there A320 NEO’s. Such a shame.
Alaska Airbuses confirmed? I’m excited for this merger, I’ve experienced and heard great things from both airlines, I have yet to fly VA though.
I’m sad to possible see Alaska move away from all Boeing. I loved how they had “Proudly all Boeing” painted on the sides of thier jets. Continental used to do that before the United merger.
It will be interesting to see Alaska Airlines operating A320s:-/
It’s always sad to see an airline go, especially one that is still fairly young and recent. I’ll definitely miss seeing Virgin America in the skies. :(

Eww gross, will look ugly (jk).
It’s sad that another airline will cease to exist. I always wanted to experience their service and products. Sad that Richard Branson couldn’t do something to save them.
Good point Nathan, will do.
Nooo! I hate Alaska now! They ruined the best airline.
Do you mean Virgin America?
If they keep to their promise of offering better amenities like virgin America, then all will be well but not so well…😢…miss you Virgin America
Im thinking now, i would have much preferred the A320’s in the Virgin America livery rather than the Alaskan, just seems wrong to me.
Its awkward. Like seeing EK’s livery on a Q400
Goodbye redwood you will be missed😭
Wow, and Alaskan A320, and A321NEO🤔😏
