Airbus fans, here’s some eye candy.

Scandinavian Airlines System, commonly SAS, has taken delivery of their first A350 after months of waiting. The aircraft is registered as SE-RSA (if you want to track it) and has been nicknamed “Ingegerd Viking.” Tomorrow, it will arrive at Copenhagen Airport fresh from the factory, SAS announced from a tweet. Check out this tweet for a video of the aircraft.

SAS’s official name is Scandinavian Airlines System, since 1998 only Scandinavian Airlines or SAS.

The first picture looks weird. Imma complain about the illusion just like the rest of the kiddos. I need to sue Airbus for deceiving me. 😏

It looks like SAS used a pano or something which resulted in that weird disproportion at the end of the A350. Airbus has a better image:

Rip the orange engines. Although the new paint does represent the brand well, it seems to show less pride in the origin countries.

There’s technically 3 origin countries. So it would be a bit messy…

I really like the SAS on the front of the body. It stands out just enough to be cool. Would have been fun to be more colorful though.

Good point… but subtle things like the orange engines and such gave it a good unique factor

Hated this livery from the start. Especially on the A350. Never liked it, never will. This has got to be the ugliest A350 I’ve seen, and will be the ugliest for all eternity. It’s cool they got their first A350 and all, cool plane in itself. But I speak for the minority, this is a terrible livery.

This is just my unpopular opinion, don’t sue me.

That looks very classy indeed. With that combo of light greys and silvers, and their black and grey combo interior, it’s one very desirable aircraft. Top marks SAS.

Now SE-RSA has landed in CPH. Where it will also have its base. But as it looks now, Ingegerd Viking will also visit Arlanda and Gardermoen.

Based on all that green on the flight path I would say they did do a low pass.
