San Francisco Terminal Spotting
I had a couple of hours to kill today at San Francisco International Airport’s Terminal 1 before my flight. It’s a great space for spotting, with good variety and fantastic windows. Terminal 1 is used by airlines like Delta, Alaska, Sun Country, JetBlue, American, and, for some reason, Aer Lingus, but it has direct views of the International Terminal, where all the fun airlines park.
Starting off, we have this American Airlines A321-211 preparing for a flight down to Dallas/Fort Worth (delAAyed, of course)
An Alaska Airlines 737-900ER boarding for a quick hop to Seattle. The United 737 MAX 8 in the background is heading to @Jger land (Panama City)
Another 737 going up North, this Air Canada MAX 8 is about to push for Vancouver. There’s a JetBlue A321 in the background that’s heading to Fort Lauderdale a few minutes later
All the windows facing the Southeast side of the airport (including the “1” ends of runways) had a slight blue Sun protection film on them, thus the odd coloring. We’ve got a Delta 767 taxiing for a late departure to @Anthony_Gulluscio land (New York/JFK) and an Air Canada A220-300 arriving from Montreal
A Sun Country 737-800 taxiing in from Minneapolis. The Alaska E175 who’s tail is visible is departing for San Diego
We’ve got a Turkish A350-900 in from Des Moines jk racing this Alaska E-jet (arriving from Spokane) to their respective gates
This guy looks familiar…
