Same speed but somehow not

It’s better, we’re kind of dancing around each other now but now my fuel says it won’t last. I honestly don’t get a hell it’s so finicky.

Try and look to see if your fuel remaining shows at the bottom of your screen and it should say how much fuel you have left. Red on your flight time doesn’t always mean that you don’t have enough fuel, if you thought that ;)

By the way it could be the connection if that’s actually a viable possibility because my internet is notoriously awful

That very well could be the case :)

I did in right now the ETA to destination it’s about 30 minutes longer than it says I have fuel

Windy app would explain this. WInds vary from place to place.

Well now the ETA and fuel remaining are neck-to-neck which usually means it will eventually level off in my favor so I think I’ll be safe here hopefully. Now the only fear I have is for some reason something changes and I plow into him

Slooooooow down!

weights now I’m hearing mixed things

Slow down? It’s likely he’s flying a long haul aircraft

Thank you for your help but I mentioned above that we are both flying I love how flight I’m not trying to stalk this guy

Would need to slow down, no? 😉

fair enough but I think we narrowed it down to a connection problem so we’re arguing that it’s not the plane itself it’s the internet

As for weight, it should have no impact on your relative speeds, .84 is .84…

Mach speed varies across a range of ground speeds. Say, hypothetically: Mach 0.84 in your location is between ground speed of 487kts and 494kts. When you set your autopilot to M0.84, it will stay within that range, and therefore won’t be exactly the same as other aircraft in your area.
