Safety Card Collections | Part 2

Hey everyone! I remember from a few years back this thread existed.

Since then on literally all of my flights I’ve been collecting safety cards, and not just during my flights. Aviation events, asking my friends to grab them for me who went on a flight, etc. So, I’d like to make this part 2 to revive this! It’s a really cool form of aviation memorabilia. Think of what parts of the world that safety card has traveled to!

How can I get my own safety card?

While simply taking it from a seat-back pocket is the easiest way, it likely leaves that seat without a safety card which is not only dangerous, but also illegal. Most safety cards also clearly say not to remove the card from the plane. The second easiest way, my favorite is asking a flight attendant. Sometimes when I get up to go to the bathroom during a flight that is a great time to ask. Another way, write to/email an airline directly! They must have many extras. Lastly, eBay! Many people resell them.

I’ll go first!

Here are two of four JetBlue safety cards I have!

I didnt even ask for it to be signed, they all heard my story, on how ive been studying to fly since i was 10 and they thought that was cool, so they all signed a card that was the first one in the aircraft, as it was the flight attendant one, was pretty cool

Little tip though, tell them you are collection the flight safety cards and they are going to go from a 50-50 of letting you have it to a more like 90-10 of you getting it

Yea I think I’ve got a more interesting story (not bragging). I’ve been interested and studying aviation since I was 5. I’ve flown a C172 a little while back. Of course with an instructor
