S7 Airlines | Airbus A320-214 | VP-BOG

Hello community!

It’s been a very long time since our simulator has seen liveries for planes from the former Soviet Union.

I present you a very beautiful livery for the Airbus A320 aircraft performed by the Russian airline S7 Airlines, a member of the Oneworld aviation alliance.

Here's what S7 Airlines had to say about the livery itself

S7 Airlines and the Street Art Museum created an exclusive livery for the Airbus A320 aircraft. Unlike the entire S7 Airlines fleet, the airliner is almost completely white, with the usual bright green color appearing only on the tail, where, according to the story, the master “works” on the paint, who the artist seems to have accidentally caught in the camera lens.
“The slogan of S7 Airlines is: ‘Get involved in happiness.’ And that means actively acting, taking responsibility, creating your life, your company, making them as you dream.
Our brand is recognized worldwide by its green planes. The new livery is unfamiliar, the white color is like a symbol of a blank sheet of paper with which the artist begins to work. It’s the perfect space for creativity. So it depends on each employee what our company will be like, what values it carries and what results it achieves. Behind every S7 Airlines flight there are people, professionals without whom we cannot imagine the airline’s work. Of course this is an art metaphor - no one paints an airplane with a roller, and our gratitude goes not only to the technicians who paint airplanes. This is gratitude to the entire S7 team who works daily to put S7 Airlines airliners in the sky and enable passengers to discover new cities,” says Eleonora Romanova, CMO of the S7 Group.
The project was curated by the Museum of Street Art, which supports contemporary street artists in broadcasting their ideas.
“We suggested creating a livery sketch in collaboration with the artist Ivan Simonov as a continuation of his series of works #smallpeople. In his project, Ivan photographs people who often remain “behind the scenes,” and creates collages in urban space: he places silhouettes cut out of printed images on various surfaces, accompanied by a brief text. To rise from the city to the sky is a very interesting format for a street artist”, - says Tatiana Pinchuk, director of the Museum of Street Art.
Translation from the airline’s official website

I propose to evaluate the work of the airline team and implement this livery in our flight simulator!

  • Very nice livery! Definitely need to add it!
  • A common livery, many airlines have something similar
  • Terrible livery. Why do we need it in the simulator?

So basically a white plane with a colored tail? Or are they gonna finish the livery later?

Also, since this isn’t their regular livery, it isn’t allowed to request it with the new #features rules. Only alliance liveries are special liveries you can request now.
