Yesterday, I did one of my favorite flights both IRL and in-game from the quiet, rural town airport of Westchester County (KHPN), NY to the now second busiest airport in the world, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International airport (KATL), GA. This will focus on the evening takeoff from Westchester County Airport.
Airline: Delta Airlines
Aircraft: Bombardier CRJ-900
Route: Westchester County Airport (KHPN), NY - Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (KATL), GA
Total Flight Time: 2 hours, 3 minutes
Delta Flight 5067 on a flight from Westchester County Airport to Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport taxis from gate 3 to runway 34. Photo taken from a passenger at the terminal.
As the plane picks up speed, the pilots rotate and the plane starts to lift off the ground. Photo taken by some plane spotter along the fence.
After a few seconds, the plane climbs into the air and starts its ascent to FL 340 en route to Atlanta. Photo taken by the same plane spotter.
A final shot from the plane spotter as the plane starts to climb away from the airport and approaches its first turn out of Westchester. See you when you return!
A special edited photo. Used both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom with a time of 45 minutes to an hour. Hope you enjoy!
Hope you enjoyed these few snapshots of my flight from Westchester to Atlanta! I honestly love this flight so much and I highly recommend this to everyone who loves to fly short domestic routes in the United States! I may do a part 2 but that all depends! Until then, see you in the skies!!
