Runway Occupancy in London Causes a Go Around Incident

I was approaching runway 27R and then an A220 took over my runway, before which I issued the final approach command, which eventually led me to go around!!!

Hey!

I know this is frustrating and it has happened to me countless times whether at Heathrow or other airports. But unfortunately there really isn’t much we can do about this especially if there wasn’t ATC present

This should be something that is changed. Someone else not following what they are supposed to be doing Whether there is ATC or not should be given at least some kind of warning. It is unfair to the others who encounter them it ruins the whole experience. And recently a lot more of this has been going on and they still get off the hook. Needs to change in my opinion

Yea I think so

Thank you

I know its not the popular choice but just land anyways. If you did all the right things and its obvious hes not caring, i just land like they are not there. There’s no penalty for them just as you wont get penalize, goes both ways. And you still get your landing counted for the record.

IMPORTANT: THIS IS WHEN NO ATC IS PRESENT
