Let me explain, currently the runway ends go red if the winds are not in favor, but what if the whole runway goes red if your aircraft can’t land there
Instead of just the end, similar to the gate restrictions, the whole runway would go red. This would discourage people to land an A380 at a small GA airport.

i am not going to vote for this because I do not think this is realistic meaning I do not think that they have this in real life. in plus you should do some of your planning ahead of time :)

Id rather instead of making the game more arcade like, taking out the colouring and have people read the METARs.

@Alphadog4646 not a good idea in my opinion, people on TS don’t even use the runways in use with the wind colours and 99.999999999999999% of them have no idea what a METAR is so it’d just be chaos, on expert it could work though

Well for expert. People should be able to read METARs… and METARs still apply even for aircraft taking off @Jamster

I really like the idea though I feel like it would confuse aircrafts that are able to land at the specific runway. Like, you know how the numbers turn red when the winds are not favorable on a specific runway? If both turn red, peeps may think the whole runway is not available for use which also gives out the impression that the airport itself is closed.

You know, i read everything horribly wrong, i know understand this feature, however people should understand an A388 can’t land on a 4000ft runway, on expert server anyway, cannot say the same for TS and CS… But then everything with runways being marked red/green/yellow would be confusing, say 23 in green, but the runway is red. It’d confuse many pilots… But something like this for CS and TS could help a little hopefully
