Runway distance after landing

I’ve seen that planes in IF don’t take so much runway to land compared to planes irl, am I doing something wrong when landing? even after landing at 150 knots, with flaps 30, spoilers obviously armed and 100% of thrust reverse, it takes so little for a 787-9 to land, am I doing something wrong?

Try not doing 100% on reverse thrust I tend to do more like 30-40% maybe 50% on shorter runways

do planes irl do 100%? ty for the advise btw

I usually give 100% reverse thrust and spoilers and auto brakes only, I don’t use brakes although. At 60 knots I leave the reverse thrust slowly to idle and then I usually come to a stop. But infinite flight braking system is too fast. I personally don’t use it it’s very unrealistic

No way! The specific amount of reverse thrust they use depend on many things such as the type of aircraft, overall weight, weather conditions, and the length of the runway.

Yep, the braking is insanely fast.

I tested the Dash’s braking distance in Amsterdam (low elevation) and I was surprised to see, that when executed correctly, you can literally brake in like 200 feet. I got the plane 1% load, made it slow down to 90-knots where I purposefully initiated a stall and landed at the beginning of the threshold-the plane’s main gear hadn’t even finished crossing the threshold when I was at exiting speed (30 knots).
