Runway crossing

When I am crossing a runway obviously I can request to cross two runways but be talking about one Runway (eg RWY 1 or RWY 19). Is there some rule to know which runway to request?

Whichever one the ATIS Says is active. If there is no ATIS, request whichever one seems to be utilized by the flow of traffic.

But you can request to cross 19R or 1L.

Always request to cross the runway in use, not the other end

That is correct, you choose the runway heading that is being used. This is indicated in ATIS.
