Runway 27 of EGLC

Pictures taken far from runway 27 show there aren’t very tall buildings near its threshold, so why does that one has the 5.5° steep approach? Is it because the bridge near it or noise concerns?

You’re not permitted to place runways close to buildings or vice versa.
The 5.5° angled glideslope helps to reduce the noise pollution around LCY’s approach paths.

the glideslope used to be far more steep (7.5 degrees) I’m guessing its to do with noise.
