One of the biggest concerns in Infinite Flight is reaching those users who are not active on the community forums. It becomes difficult to reach that particular audience in regards to rules (ex: speed, hold short line, cruising alt, safe distance, etc) since they are not a part of the medium that the forum provides.
FDS should provide loading screens on the Expert and Training servers that remind users of the different types of rules, tips, and tutorials that we follow on the expert server. That way everyone can be aware of the rules, providing a more fluid flying experience.
An example would be this image I got from Mark Denton’s “Understanding Runway Markings” showing what the different types of markings mean.
I have full support on this idea! I heard from someone, either Mark or Tyler, that they’re working on adding this feature to the sim. It’ll help those who aren’t active on the forums. :)
Definitely! It also keeps people accountable for their actions. The expert server went absolute bonkers when the 787 came out. A nice reminder could’ve came in handy in that particular situation!
