Ruili Airlines is a Chinese low-cost carrier, based in Wuxi. They’re relatively young, having been established in 2014 by the state-owned aviation enterprise Jincheng Group. Ruili Airlines has an all-Boeing fleet, consisting of 737-700s and 737-800s, with 36 MAX 8s and 6 787-9s on order. According to FlightConnections, the carrier operates a pretty solid route network across China with some vacation hotspots in Southeast Asia as well.
Despite being created in Wuxi, their primary hub is now in Kunming with secondary hubs in Mangshi, Wuxi, Shenyang, and Chengdu.
The 737-700
The 737-700 is a member of Boeing’s most popular aircraft program to date, the 737NG. First introduced in 1997, it quickly became the aircraft of choice for short to medium haul flights (although you can go a lot farther with the 737-700’s model in Infinite Flight than in real life for some reason).
Very nice request! Nice to see some underrated Chinese airlines being talked about. Just one thing. The picture you posted is most likely the old livery, since the one below I’ve seen is on several other Ruili 737s, which I presume is the new livery.
Nevertheless, it’ll be great to see this added! This livery can open up a lot of underrated Chinese routes, such as Lijiang → Bangkok and Mangshi → Xishuangbanna.
