Almost every time when I am cruising, and I want to change my camera, I would accidentally move the rudder way too much, resulting in a very unpleasant ride for the passengers. My idea is to implement a system where the rudder is limited to a specific amount of deflection at certain speeds. This will make those mishaps a lot less violent, and just as a safety feature, as aggressive rudder inputs could/will induce some sort of stall or dangerous situation. This is a feature on Airbus aircraft which does not allow rudder input during cruise as stated here: "The use of rudder by the flight crew on Airbus aircraft is limited to the takeoff and landing roll, crosswind landings, or to counteract the yaw effect caused by an engine failure until the rudder is trimmed. Several events have been reported where the flight crew used rudder inputs after encountering turbulence, causing unnecessary trajectory deviations and loads on the aircraft structure."
"Maximum rudder panel deflection is approximately +/-15 degrees on the ground, reducing to around +/-8 degrees at a typical cruise altitude."
