Hi! I am wondering if anyone has good recommendations for a route that is 1h 30m - 1h 45m. Thanks!
A great route is Anchorage to Juneau (PANC - PAJN), that’s one of my favorites, and the second half of the route is very scenic.
Or you could check this thread out that I’ve linked below:
It’s from 2019, but still has some great routes.
You can also enter in your parameters you’re requesting found on this link and you’ll get random flights. Recommend playing with it to find out what interests you.
I’ve got a few.
IRL Routes: GJT-DFW, GJT-ORD, GJT-LAX.
Not IRL: GJT-IAH, GJT-PDX, GJT-SEA, GJT-YVR, GJT-YYC
KLAX-KBIL is just over 1hr30min
Thanks so much
I’m feeling a weird bias for some reason 🤔
🤔 Maybe, just possibly a slight bias…
LEBL (Barcelona) - LICC (Catania) is a beautiful flight and approach in to Catania. Can do in that time with the winds as they are at the mo.
So it seems like everyone is just commenting routes about THEIR home airports 😉
But your bio says your from Chicago, sooo
and obviously all of those would work flying with Southwest out of Midway
Hmmm, never heard of SW flying to JFK as of now
It’s the general idea so I didn’t have to list all of them again
Auckland to Queens town is around that time I believe and it’s a beautiful route
Thanks, I´ll take your idea!
@PrestonThePilot From Barcelona you´ll find some nice routes.
For example, BCN-OVD, you will overfly two small coastal cities (Gijón and Avilés) with their docks, sometimes is windy.
The runway is semi-short though, so as soon as you land you have to yank it back to 100% thrust reversers.
Juneau’s(PAJN) runway is a little over 8,000 feet, more than enough space for a 737. All of Anchorage’s(PANC) runways are over 10,000 feet, definitely more than enough for a 737.
I got a couple out of some airports that I call home :)
Since we’re doing a bias war:
